SIS Pitches Middle East has recently commissioned a TopChanger XP and a BunkerBuddy. The machine is being used for the maintenance of grass and hybrid pitches.
By injecting fresh sand into the soil, the soil structure is improved, creating more space for grass roots. In addition, the grass and hybrid pitches will also be aerated using water pressure. A major advantage of this is that the soil between the injection holes is loosened. Both operations cause minimal damage to the playing surface, meaning they can be carried out all year round and are not dependent on renovation or maintenance periods. By using the VGR BunkerBuddy, which is mounted on a Dakota 412, the work can be carried out by just two people.
