Aeration holes are immediately filled with wet sand. This sand is injected deep into the soil by the TopChanger. This minimises the amount of any residual sand left on the surface. The sand leads to improved water infiltration in the lower levels of the soil. As a result, the top layer stays dryer so improving the playing surface.
